I've noticed that while there are a couple of altered journal swaps every now and again there really aren't any for altered sketchbooks.

The concept is essencially the same as altered journals, just with a book without lines and preferably not on the teeny tiny side.

So for this swap, you have one partner, and you send one sketchbook where you have altered the cover resulting in a one-of-a-kind spiffy and inspiring sketchbook to put your drawings, paintings, and whatever art things you do into.

The base of the sketchbook can be store bought or handmade, but a lot of attention, creativity, and care should be put into the making of the cover as it is the shining point of this swap.

Anyone can join, thought artists and art students in particular are a plus. Newbies are allowed as long as their profiles are filled out.
