Description:

The February 2014 Fandom in a Bag swap is for the Pixar Fandom. All Pixar movies are fair game. You can find a list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ListofPixar_films

Step 1: Step 1: Please list in the comments your favorite movies, characters, moments, scenes, or any other preference you may have.

Step 2: After partners are assigned, check to see what your partner likes. You can follow-up with a message if you need to know more. Then scrounge up, buy, and/or create items that fit in a bag. Your bag must contain at least 7 different types of items although more is certainly encouraged (PLEASE try to make it look full).

Some ideas of themed items: stickers, ATCs, postcards, toys/action figures, comics, note cards, pins/buttons, magnets, jewelry, trading cards, legal music CDs, charms, ornaments, books, bookmarks, address labels, postcards, plushies/stuffies, promo stills/autograph cards, fainfic, zines, etc.

More specific ideas: cars license plates, Ratatouille recipe book, Eve & Wall-E seed packets, balloons, etc.

Be sure to check your partner's profile so you don't send anything he or she might be allergic to.

Step 3: Put the items in a ziplock-type bag. Size: 1 gallon (measures about 10 inches by 11 inches or 28cm by 26.5 cm). You can decorate the bag or incorporate the bag into something (mount it or sew something around it). If you want to make or buy a bag instead of using a ziplock plastic one, that's fine as well, but it should be at least a gallon in size. All items you gather or create should fit into the bag (if a couple are too big, that's fine).

Assemble your bags during the month of January and please send by the deadline (March 1).

Group rating rules apply. NO FLAKING ALLOWED! Your house will be lifted away and never returned if you flake.

I am not a huge fan of Cars, but if something sneaks in, I'm okay with it as my friend's son likes Cars still. I haven't seen Brave yet but I'm sure I will love it as I'm obsessed with Scotland. I haven't seen Monsters University yet but I loved Monsters Inc. I'm hoping to have seen Brave by the time this swap starts, so I may amend this later ;-)

My favorites are Monsters Inc. (my absolute favorite, hands down), Finding Nemo, Up, Ratatouille, and Wall-E. I do really love Toy Story though (I cried buckets during the third movie) just not as much as some of the others.

If you want to know my favorite characters or have any other questions, please let me know.

Never seen Cars or WallE, pretty fond of anything else Pixar. Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Brave, and Ratatouille are my faves, but I like all the rest! I asks especially love the little shorts before the movies. The one before Brave, the little boy and his dad and grandfather harvesting stars? Best thing ever!

I'm not a big fan of cars of toy story, so please none of these. Wall-E is my favorite of the pixar movies. Anything of the other movies is ok too.

My favorites are Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, all the Toy Story movies, Monsters Inc, and Wall-E. I didn't enjoy Cars at all, so please nothing related to that, but any other movie is fine. I also really enjoy the pixar short films. I think Boundin' is my favorite, followed by Knick Knack.

I'm pretty much down with all the characters. If I had to pick my absolute favorites, I'd probably say Nemo, Mike Wazowski, the toy aliens from the Toy Story movies, and Edna Mode.

Favorite Pixar movies: The Incredibles is my absolute favorite followed closely by the Monsters, Inc. and Toy Story movies (any of them). I also enjoyed Ratatouille , Up, and Finding Nemo, Cars and WALL-E were fair. I'm not remotely interested in Brave. Character favorites are Mr.Incredible. Edna Mode, Woody, Slinky, Mike Wazowski. and the dog in Up. I also collect the Lego Toy Story green army men to build a boot camp training center. I don't think there is anything I would just be completely disappointed with. Also, one of the three boys would love it if I didn't.

I absolutely love Finding Nemo - that is my favourite, followed by Monsters Inc. (Nemo and Sully are my favourite characters) Haven't seen Monsters University yet, or Brave, but will probably like those a great deal too!! Any of the others are fine except really not keen on Cars.

My favorite Pixar movie is Finding Nemo (one of my all time fave movies), but I love Wall-E and Up too! Also like Monsters Inc and University.....not keen on Cars, Planes or Bug's Life. Haven't seen Brave yet and I don't like the Incredibles at all.
