DS: Pick-a-Theme Mail Art & Flat Surprise

Reminder: US postal increase occurs January 26.

Come join us! For this swap, decorate an envelope to send your partner -- along with a flat surprise inside. (If you want to send something larger, that’s fine.) Pick one of the following themes for your envie:

• Winter Olympics (as in symbols and snow sports!)

• Pink-a-palooza (as in lots of pink). Ideas: pink collage, breast cancer awareness, princesses & palaces, Valentine hearts, pink zentangle, etc.

• I ❤ Baking (as in yum)

Mail art - Store-bought or handmade envie. Further decorated by you. Any mailable size. Beware square or clasp envies as they may incur postage due on the other end, though. Front decoration required; back is optional. Use markers, paper, stamps, tape, images, etc. (your choice). Stickers OK in moderation. You don't have to be a great artist - just have fun and give it your best!

Surprise - Swap calls for a flat surprise (larger OK). Store-bought or quality handmade. New/like-new. Sender’s choice, but do honor your partner’s profile dislikes/no thanks/don’t sends. Surprise doesn't have to match your envie theme. Value before postage at least $1.

Ideas: Tape samples, swap cards, stickers/flakes, note cards, smash supplies, profile surprise, etc. No junk or scraps. Surprise your partner ...you know, in a good way!
