Description:

Here is round two of the wish for washi swap. To qualify for this swap if you were in the last round then your swap has to have been sent. Same rules as the first round. If you have the same partner as the last round then please make sure you send something different to the last time or at least try to.

I have seen tons of washi tape swaps but not many international swaps so here goes.

For this swap you will send to each your partner 4 different samples of washi tape. Each one has to be different and measure at least 12 inches. If you are unsure then most regular scrapbook paper are 12 inches so that is a good guide to go by. Please make sure that IF you are sending a solid colour tape that you send only a minimum of 2 that are a solid colour and then the other two have to be patterned.

The tape has to be clean and wrinkle free and most importantly, sticky. Please wind your washi tape onto a plastic/card or handmade bobbin making sure you wind it neatly onto itself. This picture is just an idea but feel free to use anything to wrap the tape onto as long as its surface is shiny and the tape peels off it easily..

A good way to send this would be to lightly stick the top ( not the part with tape on ) of each bobbin into a card so they don't shift around and end up costing more to send. You could even tape the top of the bobbin down with... wait for it... washi tape! This is totally optional if you would like to do it this way and not a requirement.

You will have two partners and please include a note of some sort with your swap-bot name and name of the swap. No new or unexplained 1's or 3's. It is not profile related so you can put your samples into the envelope and wait for partners to be assigned.

Very important Please make sure you understand what washi tape is and make sure you have the swap requirements before joining. It has to be washi tape and not deco or plastic tape. It has to be store bought and not home made.

If you have any concerns or questions then please feel free to send me a message to my inbox. I will ban where I see fit but in that case I might offer a private trade. There is only one week to send from sign up time so please make sure you are able to send it that time.

Can you take part if you were not in the 1st round

nasreen 01/11/2014 #

For sure.

I just got a package in the mail that I ordered with 20 new washi tape rolls so I cannot wait for this round. Always up for a private swap if anyone is interested.

May it be also 4 patterns??

nasreen 01/21/2014 #

Yes, we should just try to keep he solids to a minimum (if any) but as many patterns as you like.

OK GREAT!

AM I READING IT RIGHT THAT I WOULD SEND AT THE LEAST 4 12" WASHI SAMPLES TO 2 PARTNERS. I DON'T WANT TO SIGN UP AND MISUNDERSTAND THE DIRECTIONS.

nasreen 01/29/2014 #

Yes, you send 4 separate 12 inch pieces to two people. Here is how my last round looked for clarification.

nasreen 01/29/2014 #

Sorry that was soooo big.
