Description:

In this exchange you will mail 1 postcard in the shape of FISH to 1 partner. So you have to make 1 card. Get the pattern from a coloring book or wherever. The simpler the better. Remember that you're looking for shape not detail.Cut the fish of fabric and back it as you would a fabric card to mail.

You may embellish the card however as long as you apply some tulle-bridal net- over the top of the shape. It'll give the illusion of looking through water.Take them into the Post Office too.The Post Office will also like it better since loose things won't gum up their machines. Try to keep the fish in postcard size 4X6. Postage will be higher anyway because of the shape. Mail them as a fish out of water- no envelope.

Does the postcard have to be fabric? Do I have to use tulle or bridal net? What if I don't? :) Kristi

It really doesn't have to be fabric. The tulle holds the stuff down on fabric so it'll mail. But if you're going to use something else that's fine with me. Thanks for asking! Brenda
