Animal Alphabet Postcard Letter 'A'

For this swap you'll have 1 partner and you'll create a mail art postcard picturing an animal (and other things, if you like) beginning with the letter 'A.' Please put the letter 'A' somewhere on the front of the postcard. I have seen a similar series in another group or in public swapland, so this is not my original idea but I'm claiming an animal version for our group! This is the first in the series and when we're done we should have an entire set of 26 animal alphabet mail art postcards!

Since I'm aiming to have this as an ongoing series, let's keep the size of the postcards uniform. I'd LIKE to keep each card at 5" x 7"--that's a bit more room for artistic interpretation than 4"x6", but not overly huge. If you have a different idea about the size, please contact me or leave a message in the comments.

So . . . that's 1 5"x7" mail art postcard featuring an animal beginning with the letter 'A'.

Some suggestions: Albatross, Alligator, Angelfish, Arctic Hare, Antelope, Armadillo, African Elephant, Auk, or any other animal that appeals to you.

Let's use the term "animal" loosely to mean any living creature (other than human). I would accept a Butterfly for the letter 'B' HOWEVER . . . let's ALL avoid snakes and spiders! Personally I am terrified of spiders and I know others who feel the same way about snakes.
