Description:

I have really gotten into journalling lately, and I came up with a lovely idea to journal an entire year. So we are starting with journalling the summer.

We will have 1 partner, and will keep a journal for 3 months of the things we get up to over those months.

I think summer will be a lovely time to do it as people go on holidays, go to weddings, spend alot of time outdoors in the sunshine.

I understand people won't have time to write in the journal everyday, but you should have at least 30 entries over the 3 months, thats 10 a month, and 2-3 each week which isn't so bad.

Some ideas -

If you go to the beach you could stick in a pebble you collect.

If you go to a wedding collect a little confetti to glue in.

This journal will be written from 1st June to the 31st August. I will then start a Autumn journal swap, that runs from the 1st September 31st November, a winter journal from 1st December to the 28th February, and finally a spring journal from 1st March to the 31st May. You don't have to do them all though!

If you have any questions you may PM me or leave a comment below and I will get back to you asap.

You must have a 4.9 rating, and no recent no sends. No newbies for this one - sorry but it's alot of work and I want to minimise the risk. If you are really wanting to do it I may be able to do a one on one with you, or find you somebody that will. International so don't join if you won't post overseas.

Thank you so much for organizing this swap. 365 days seemed like a really long commitment, but 3 months sounds like great fun.

Is there a certain size the journal has to be? is handmade ok?

ClareyFairy 05/22/2008 #

can be any size, and handmade is fine, I know mine will be. I think the ones I make are 7.5" x 5", but any size is fine

ahh, just a wee problem. Seeing that this swap is international, it would be a tad difficult to write a "summer" journal when we are in winter :o)
