MMA- Mixed Media Backgrounds

Create 2 mixed media backgrounds for 2 different partners. Color theme is sender's choice.

You must use multiple art media in your design (collage, paint, ink, gesso, fibers, fabric, etc.) Your backgrounds should be sturdy and at least 4 X 5 inches. (You can create two 8.5 X 11 inch background pages, cut them in half and give one of each to both partners) Mail your finished pieces to your partner in an envelope.

Mixed media backgrounds can be used to build art journal pages, ATCs, inchies, junk journals, etc. You can google images of mixed media backgrounds for ideas. There are also several tutorials on youtube that demonstrate many different techniques. If there is enough interest for this swap, I will consider hosting a color series.
