Collage Art Techniques - Crystalline Paper

I often feel that a new technique can lift my creative spirit. This one is easy and fun and we all need beautiful papers for our pieces so...Here we go.....

Crystalline paper is made from tissue paper. Patiently coat each side with sealer - mod podge, gel medium - whatever you have. Once each side is dry you will see the "crystal" quality - it's see through. Note on the swap image the white right corner - thats a piece of white paper underneath to try to show the transparency.

Now add all your favourite paint and texture techniques to make some kick ass paper for your lovely partner. Leave some spaces to keep the crystal asset of this paper.

Dont forget to make some for yourself while you are at it. You are going to want some!

You will make two different pieces of roughly 6.5 x 12 inch papers for 1 partner. Tissue is very lightweight, fold it in thirds length wise to fit in an envelope 5x7.
