Junk Journal Jamboree

Here's a quick swap to get this group moving and shaking!

First, check your partners' profiles (all both of them) to see what kinds of things they are into. Then dig into your personal stash, and I mean The Good Stuff. Your job is to send them a handful (minimum 7 items); that are all extra-cool, super-fun, and of course flat, so that postage is kept reasonable.

These items should be things they will joyfully journal in their Junk book. You could include things like:

• Project Life cards (actual PL cards, or just cards in that style)
• other journaling cards
• layered cards that you've created yourself
• washi tape
• date cards
• cool tabs
• ephemera (GOOD ephemera, not garbage); e.g.
  • clothing tags that are too amazing to throw away
  • map bits that are pretty
  • vintage things, if that's what your partner's into
• tags - done up or started would be best, but blank will do
• decorated or handmade envelopes
• stickers (but be careful here - only quality stickers, and this can only count as 1 of your 5 items, no matter how many stickers you include)
• awesome labels (purchased, custom made or homemade, as long as they are AWESOME)

These are just some ideas to get you started, but your assignment is to make your partner grin from ear to ear and jump up and down like a fool at the mailbox, causing their neighbours to wonder what kind of fancy-pants mail they're getting. Is it Publishers Clearing House? You were named in a will? NO, it's your JUNK JOURNAL JAMBOREE ENVELOPE!!!

Don't forget to include a short note telling them who you are and why you picked those particular items for them. Is it your favoritest thing ever and you just had to share? Their profile told you that this would be perfect for them? A vision came to you? Let's start to connect a little bit, because I think this group is going to be The Next Big Thing.
