Description:

I was just reading over forum posts and I found a thread about what to do with old mason jars. I have tons of them as we can! And someone posted a Pinterest board of captured fairies. I also saw ornaments, which I make those too. So...HOW cute!!

So, for this swap you will have one partner and you will make one captured fairy. It can be a paper doll fairy, polymer clay, art doll of any kind. You can use a mason jar or you can use something else, a goblet, cage, jewelry, resin, tiny bottles/vials, whatever! Just so long as it is nicely done. Add a scene with it, whatever that may be for you. Just don't slap a paper fairy in a jar and call it done, okay? The outside is fair game as well. You all know what to do to make it nice!

It can NOT be flat. So no drawings, no ATC cards, no digital or pdfs. It has to be 3D. The fairy can be flat, but it has to be IN something.

Because of the timing, you can make it a general theme, or holiday! Halloween, Fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah/Chanukah, etc. (not just religious, ANY theme) if you like. But it is NOT required.

Captured Fairies

I am giving you a full month to get your projects done. But since this is not a profile based swap you can start as soon as you like!

Because of the labor intensive work of love we are all going to do, you must have a rating of 4.9 or better with no unexplained 1's and no recent 3's without a good explanation. You also must have completed successfully at LEAST 3 type 3 swaps. I DO check profiles, addresses, ratings, etc. before assigning partners.

Also, this is a U.S. ONLY swap! Due to postage. Again, anyone can make an international version. You can even copy my swap word for word to make it easier! Please don't fuss at me because it is not international. I can't afford to send out of the U.S. I hosted the swap, therefore I am IN the swap, and have to go by MY budget.

Thank you!

(The image used is not mine but used only for illustration purposes. Plus it was so over the top fabulous I had to share!
