Description:

Draw and colour in a picture of one or more cute characters. It can be a chibi of existing characters or characters you've created yourself. Or it could be any non-chibi drawing that's still cute in some way. It would be considerate if you read your recipient's profile to see if they have particular movies/books/manga/anime/series that they like so you can draw characters from there. If you have a particular character you want your sender to draw for you, leave a comment below stating the name and movie/book/anime/whatever they're from.

If you don't know what a chibi is, it's basically a deformed potato nugget-looking being with a freakishly large, unproportionate head and little nubbins for appendages.

What you need to send: A cute kawaii/moe/chibi coloured drawing of one or more characters. The size of the paper should be at least A5 (8.3 x 5.8 in).

Don't flake, but if I have to, I'll angel. Newbies welcome.

Can we do chibi versions of characters from non-manga/chibi culture? What about original characters?

Jane123 08/22/2013 #

maggiepond, yes you can draw characters from non-manga/chibi culture, and you can also draw original characters.

Have to say, "deformed potato nugget-looking " was the best descriptive phrase I've read in a long time, and reading it out loud gave me a giant smile and made me laugh! Thank you for making my day a little ^_^ And I also enjoyed "little nubbins" lol

Aw, that's great! I'm glad my description made someone smile :)

Wait, does the paper or the envelope have to be 8.3 x 5.8 in.?

Jane123 09/14/2013 #

maggiepond, the paper has to be at least 8.3"x5.8", and the envelope has to be whatever size that the paper can fit inside.
