Description:

Many thanks to Margothecat for allowing me to host an international verison of her Washi tapes sample swap!

For this swap you'll have one partner whom you will be sending at least 8 different pieces of washi tape. Each piece of washi tape has to be at least 30 cm in length, but of course it's ok to send more and/or longer pieces! :)

An easy way to send samples of washi tape is: take a piece of cardstock/board, cover it with plastic/packaging tape and wrap the samples around it. It won't harm/damage the tape, you can still use it! :)

The USA conversion of 30 cm = 11.8 inches.

Is washi tape only paper tape, or can plastic printed tape that's shiny count as washi also?

Newberlin 08/28/2013 #

@xxkarenlxx this swap is only for real washi tape, made of paper. No deco tape or any other tapes are allowed.

That's fine. I just asked because I'm surprised that wrapping the washi tape around the plastic covered core doesn't remove some of the tackiness of the adhesive. And because your photo looks just like some of the deco tape in one of our stores. :)

Maybe it removes a bit, but I've received several samples this way and they are still good for using. :)
