Can this be mailed?

Here's a Ton of cool Ideas and they aren't even expensive. This blogger specifically keeps them to 13 oz or less which is under a specific postal rate in the US to keep costs down. Her ideas are hilarious and super fun for kids and families.

ok, I'm going to ask it... what if we do mail something but it doesn't get delivered? As in, not an issue of lost mail but instead the postal service just won't send it?

I guess it will be returned to sender?

I'm incredibly excited about this swap, just fearing going too obscure and it not arriving I obviously don't want to be flagged as a flaker :)

@AEdge I totally understand your consern. And I will highly recommend going to the post offices for this swap for their guidance. I know that if you label items so that it's easy for the postal workers to read adresses to both sender and reciever, and also put the stamps where they can be seen and stamped, would help a lot! I work in the postal business myself, so I know things will get to their recipents as long as they are adressed properly and it is possible to read everything in the adress!

So it can be anything that fits the mailbox... Should it be empty cd cover/ book covers, empty bottle etc. Like the item is a postcard... written and stamped?

That's also up to you. If you want to use a bottle, you can use it as an envelope, with a note inside it. Or you can write directly on the bottle. Use the item as an envelope or as a postcard - whatever fits the item. The main rule is it has to be something that are not meant to be mailed and that is has to fit a regular mailbox.
