I love abstract art, so for this swap we will be doing 1 atc for your partner. Google images has some fantastic abstract art ideas. I find the easiest way is to do a large usually a full sheet of card stock or water color paper and then find the area I like best and cut that out. the extra I cut up to use for backing for other ATC's

You can go as simple, elaborate or detailed as you want, design and colors are your choice.

You can use any of these mediums or mix mediums to make your ATC,
-sharpies
-water color
-oil paint
-acrylic paint
-high lighters
-distress inks
-glitter glue
-chalks
-color pencils
-crayons or wax

I know I'm going to be annoying... but abstract art is like Picasso.... a familiar object that takes on a different perspective. Non objective art is like Jackson Pollack... no description at all. Maybe I'm wrong. I can't help but think about that every time I see "abstract art"... help cure me of this!!! lol!! I annoy myself sometimes!

@rosecoloredglasses first off you are not annoying. second both Picasso and Jackson Pollack styles are abstract. I looked up the defanition and this I found on Urban Dictionary
Abstract Art-Art with no defined meaning. Its purpose is to let the viewer interpret its meaning for him/herself. More often than not, abstract art is a collection of meaningless shapes and colors thrown onto a canvas. Im not sure if I answered your question but thats about the best I can tell you.

Thanks @gmaw2jman What about non objective? I had an over zealous art teacher in college obviously. I like the definition of Abstract... So, everyone sees something different!

Thanks again!

Ok.. I did some research too... non objective is another term loosely related to abstract... same and different meaning at the same time. Now I see where my art prof was going... I thought they were two different, but they are the same loosely... like "beverage" and "drinks" I suppose.... hope I didn't annoy anyone! I love to learn! Thanks @Gmaw2jman !

Thank you for the knowledge @rosecoloredglasses I do not know a lot about art other than what I like and do not like, and what I can do and cannot do and abstract art is one I like and can do. I did not find this annoying but very helpful and informative.
