Creative iPhone Photography

I love digital photography as a means of artistic expression! I have recently been inspired by a local (Colorado) iPhone photographer Karen Divine. I've used her medium to inspire this creative cell phone photography swap.

Information about the artist: Karen Divine is an award-winning photographer who is known internationally for her masterful composite work using the iPhone. Karen speaks about the iPhone as "an incredible camera and tool. The iPhone can turn what's right in front of your eyes into a world of abstractions, reflections and layers." For this swap use your iPhone or any cell phone to create a unique digital image. Use phone apps to layer, distort and meld your photograph(s) into a creative composition of your design.

For the swap: 1. Shoot whatever inspires you, then alter your photographs to create a whimsical, fantastic image. The goal is to use the cell phone and its apps to find "magic in the mundane". The subject and interpretation of this is all up to you...anything goes! 2. Send a print of your final cell phone photograph (print at 4"x4" or larger - senders choice) with a note to each of your partner. Write a quick hello and give some details of how you created your final image.

Need suggestions on great iPhone apps to tackle this swap? Each app is only ($ .99 - $2.99 ). Some of my favorites are: Juxstaposer, Image Blender, Hipstamatic, Scratchcam FX or Snapseed . (I am only familiar with the iPhone and its apps but any cell phones/apps are fine).
