I couldn't help but laugh while reading all of the replies to a thread in the forum. Have you ever had those less than nice postal workers who have just rolled their eyes when you bring in those nicely decorated envelopes???? Do they seem less than nice about posting them?? Well, then you are in luck!! This swap is for you!!! You will have three partners. For each partner, you will decorate your envelopes as nice and pretty as possible. Try to use all of the envelope!! You can also make your envelope out of patterned paper or other material. Just make sure to decorate it, too. Also make sure it is put together enough to make it through the mail! Inside, you will send a note or a letter. You will also send a small surprise such as a postcard, blank notecard, stickers, bookmark, or anything else flat that will fit in the envelope!

So, 3 partners, 1 decorated envie, note and surprise for each.

This should be a simple swap for all who sign up!

Now the not so fun stuff. Minimum of at least 15 type 3 swaps completed (sent, received, and rated). No recent and unexplained 1's, and no recent, unexplained, or excessive 3's. If you decide not to send or flake, I WILL angel. But, I WILL also report you to the flaker groups and post in the forums. If you are going to be late, please communicate with your partner BEFORE the send date. If you must leave a low rating, please make every attempt to resolve the issue prior to rating. If you have any questions, please contact me through message or leave a comment here!!!!

This is so odd, just the other day my mailman mentioned the Prison Mair Art and how beautiful some of those envelopes are!!!!! I had just received a package and he did a double take on it..That is definitely the first time that I had heard of this kind of art!!!!!!!!

Ha! I so love this swap title! I have super postal workers in my tiny town (just over 1000) who love seeing what I bring in each time...but in a larger neighboring town, I've had chiding comments about my mail art and how the postal machines can't handle this or that. Being a sassy Irish/Italian girl, I was tempted to reply "Think of it as job security, you moron." But I decided to be civil instead. (My husband marked it on the calendar! ) Let's keep mail art alive.....and screw any crabby postal workers! !!!!
