Description:
Practically every town has a popular locally-owned eatery. The kind of place where you can get a good meal at a reasonable price. Maybe a deli/sandwich shop, a pizza place, or a regional specialty (such as BBQ). National chain restaurants don't qualify here. This swap will be to send a simple "take out style" menu to one partner, with a note describing your favorite item on the menu. This should be a quick turn-around swap. If you sign up early or "watch and wait" , go ahead and grab a menu at your restaurant. When partners are assigned, jot your note, and...done! I think it will be interesting to see the local foods and to "compare prices of a hot dog here & there". No recent 1's or 3's , and newbies are welcome. Please let me know if something is unclear here. This is my first hosting :) I do expect everyone to send on time, and I will angel, but hopefully I won't need to. Enjoy the swap!

Question: Can the menu be printed? Several of our local eateries have their menus online (they take a picture and scan it - ha!).

@fwog19 If possible, please choose a restaurant that has a paper menu available, not one that's downloaded from their website. Often they are available upon request at the registers as customers order or pay. Many casual restaurants here have a small stack on the countertop for anyone to pick up. I know your partner will appreciate your efforts. Please let me know if a downloaded menu is your only option.

@palmettogirl727 It's not an issue at all. I was just curious because there are so many that do that. I'm all over Anchorage during the day, so it wouldn't take anything to stop in and grab one. The only issue I'll have is deciding which one. ;) Thank you!
