For this swap you will have one partner and to that partner you will send 6 unwritten postcards in an envelope. Postcards sent must fulfill 6 (of the 12) categories listed below:

  • pc with a photograph of a writer or actor

  • pc with a monkey

  • pc with romance

  • pc with a fantasy element

  • pc with an image beginning with the letter 'U'

  • pc that is primarily red

  • pc with a train/locomotive

  • pc with an alien

  • pc with a marketplace or store

  • pc with a door

  • pc with a manatee

  • pc sender's choice

CHALLENGE: pc with a whale or a narwhal

Along with the six unwritten postcards, you must include a note letting your partner know which category each postcard represents or a little post-it on the back of each card.

You may send zazzle or etsy cards for this swap--just make certain the quality and resolution are excellent.

If we are sending items from a category do dislikes really need to pertain?

good question @keribearsmiles My thinking here is that at one point I sent a "Tales of Terror" postcard to a mom of 3 young boys who checked the mail for her. She had it specifically listed NOT to send gory-themed cards. I missed it and felt so bad. Even though it was cartoonish, I should have checked her profile ahead of time. It's just a thoughtful thing to do and, by checking, perhaps you can choose with that individual's "likes" in mind. That said, a partner should NOT rate you down if you meet the category.
