Description:

The other day I was thinking about all the places I'd been as a kid and how so many places have been closing down or turning into new business. Or how about those 33 cent candy bars that are now 69 cents. Or all the fun games you played on the school yard. Times are changing. As children, we lived in a simpler time.

This swap is for those memories we had as children. For this swap you will write a 1-2 page letter, (handwritten please), describing different childhood memories for one partner. Maybe include places you'd been that are now something else.

Some questions you could answer, (examples only, you can choose to add any memory you wish):

  • Did you have a special friend that you played with every day?
  • What things do you remember in elementary school?
  • Where were some of your favorite places to ride your bike or play?
  • Do you remember how much food/snacks were?

For hearts you could add some pictures from when you were a child. (Not a requirement, just an example of what you could do.)

And that's all there is to it!

Swap is open to everyone. I will angel any no sends but hopefully we won't have to worry about that! :)

Does "open to everyone" mean international included?

Yes, international is included. :)

33 cent candy bars? Heavens, that makes me feel old. One of my earliest memories is when my favorite candy bar went from 5 cents to 10 cents. I was crushed. Nice idea for a swap. :-)

Emperorfool, I am on your wave length! I remember nickle popsicles. I had fun putting these memories to paper.
