Description:

I have seen torn muslin "ribbon" images circulating lately, and have enjoyed stamping such ribbons in the past. So let's swap them!

Use some of your hand-carved stamps to decorate ribbon for your partner...cut or tear TWO strips of fabric along the grain (they end up being 40-45 inches long) and decorate them using primarily hand-carved stamps. Package them attractively for your partner, then mail them away!

Here are a few sites and tutorials for inspiration:

This has a long lead time because I am getting married soon, but want us to have a swap to look forward to! Let me know if you have questions.

Using torn fabrics as "ribbons' as a background for stamped artwork is an inspiring idea. I will search the internet for examples. And I will have fun experimenting with using my hand carved stamps on the muslin ribbons. Great idea for a swap!
Is there a size limit for the artwork in this swap?

Please excuse my previous post, of course you give the size & length of the muslin ribbons to be stamps. Did find examples of the stamps muslin ribbons on Artfire.
