What is a zine??? A zine is a magazine/pamphlet/booklet that you make and publish yourself (usually photocopied). They can contain anything you like for example: Poetry, opinions, recipes, a comic, photographs, stories, reviews, sketches, personal experience, journal style. They can be completely written, completely art or anywhere in between. Here is a link to instructions for creating an 8 page zine template from one piece of paper. SWAP GUIDELINES:

*To create your zine you may use any type of techniques. So sketch, collage, word processor, typewriter, handwritten, photos.... create it as you wish.

*Theme is Magazine theme. First pick a theme for your magazine(what types do you like to read?) and give it a name.

*Create a zine that has some of the things that a magazine may have like an article or two, advertisements, fashion, polls, recipes..... anything you wish. You could create a political magazine, a fashion magazine, a craft magazine or a food magazine. It's small so you don't have to fit much into it.

*The completed size must be no larger than quarter page (about 4.5 inches x 5.5 inches). Minimum 8 pages (including front and back covers).

*Make it, copy it, put it together and mail one copy each to your 4 partners.

Swappers must have a minimum rating of 4.95, no unexplained 1's or 3's.
