Local tote bag swap!

I don't know about you, but I have a lot of tote bags and am always collecting more! I use one every day and carry spares when I go grocery shopping to cart my things home. If you'd like to receive a tote bag from somewhere you've likely never been, this is the swap for you!

The rules are simple: you send ONE tote bag to ONE partner:

• Sender's choice BUT it would be nice to check your partner's profile for hints (they may love books so you might be able to find a tote bag from a local book shop; and you probably don't want to send a bag from a meat market to your vegetarian partner!).

• The kind of tote bag I'm picturing is the lightweight cotton type big enough for carrying groceries/folders for school, as pictured. BUT if that type isn't widely available where you are (or you find a different style that you think would really suit your partner) feel free to send a boxier tote or a thicker canvas one - as long as it's a decent size to carry things around (no mini totes).

• Try to buy a 'local' bag - from a shop unique to your town/country (e.g. 'Westport Books'), or a bag with the name of your town/country on it (e.g. 'I <3 London'). Museums and galleries often do lovely totes too!

• Although I love handmade, in this swap the bag should be shop-bought rather than handmade.

• Please no free promotional tote bags with the names of insurance companies or charities on them!

Note: some artist-printed/design-led totes can be expensive - whether you send these is up to you, but I created this swap with the kind of "buy a reusable cotton bag at the cash desk" kind of tote in mind.
