Description:

I really love ATCs and haven't given much thought to anything else, but I recently saw a photo of @jannieb s son's inchie collection and loved how it looks. I have visions of a large framed canvas filled with Inchies.

I checked out a few tutorials, and I'm ready to give it a try. Please join me!

You will make a set of six Inchies for your one partner. Obviously, Inchies are one inch square pieces of art. That isn't a lot of room, but it does not mean you can place a sticker and go. You can do a lot on that small space.

Give a girl an inch, and she will take a mile!

Does a set mean they have to be all similar or coordinating? Or is it okay to send 6 totally different designs?

I have the same question as @paflip25 . :)

Made 4 inchies today, hopefully I can use them for this swap. 2 to go!

I think they can be whatever you wish. Since there isn't a theme to this swap, your six inchies do not have to coordinate.

Wow , you made 22! I have made 6 and have really struggles...enjoyed the challenge though

I love them, too! I took to it right away. I fou d that I star with a good background, find one main object to put on it, then add details with either inks, doodles, highlights, etc to tie it all together. I'm excited to see so many in this swap!

Hi there. How does everyone finish the edges? Do you see the layers on your inchies or do you wrap the layers underneath?

As long as the layers are neatly glued, I leave them as is; often, I edge them with a coordinating ink pad, which can make the layers on the edge less obvious, and help to contain the whole composition visually. Wrapping the layers also works, as long as it doesn't become too bulky...that's my take, anyhow!
