There aren't many opportunities I have seen to create your own friendship book and start swapping them to get other people's so I thought a swap for new friendship book people would be very helpful! A friendship book is a small book that you put your information in to make friends from all over the world and maybe pick up some new penpals, or even private swap partners! You typically make it a little mini book, I've seen people just staple papers together... It's up to you how you design your friendship books. The first page will have 'made for and by:' and your name, address, birthdate( so they know how old you are-- since some fb take years to get back to you), website info (if you have one), email, basic interests and if you are looking for new penpals. Also maybe add 'please send home once Filled' Then that's it! You send it off and each person that gets it will sign it with the same info and once it is full they will send it back to you! If you still don't get it just google it, or search it on Flickr, you will see examples then. You will have 5 partners, and you'll send them only 1 friendship book that you've made for yourself. If you happen to have ones from other people, feel free to send them as well so your partner can build up their collection so they can do larger swaps in the future! I am giving you a week after the deadline to send them off so you have time to make 5 new ones. I will accept newbies with a well filled out profile, if I don't need to scroll to get to the bottom of your profile than your profile isn't filled out well enough. I won't accept anyone with any unexplained 1 or 3's. If you have any questions please message me and I will do my best to answer you ASAP! Take care and happy swapping!

I like your definition of a well filled out profile. When I first got here, I had no clue how much it really needed to be, and when a friend joined, she didn't either.

Wish it was one swap partner, its too much postage for me as I live in the uk. :( I will think about joining this though. If you can please make a one partner swap soon! Also I've never done his friendship book thing before. How do you start it? like what needs to go into it acept details? can you put own questions too? thanks any help would be great.

I would have loved to join but I would end up with all international partners and just can't afford the postage.

The booklets with questions are called slams.

Wow!!!! How fun has this been... I made all different style books... two were bought and decorated by Harvey 9 and Roman 6... one was a lovely book from a friend and the final two I altered arted them up! Such fun! I also had to sneak an extra gift in too :)

All sent... can't wait for feedback :)

I received a selection of fbs fRom a partner yesterday ....which had one from 2006... then when flicking through I noticed the paper for one was from a 2005 calendar!

I decided to write to the person who the book belongs to... just to say where it has got to ;)
