Happy Birthday To My Granny!

Hi everyone!

I've seen a few requests like this on here lately, & I thought id give it a try!

My Granny that raised me, has the beginning of that "wonderful" brain/neurological disorder/disease called Alzheimers. :( she has both good and bad days... Good days being where she's Happy & we have normal conversations, & everything is fine. Bad days are when she's confused & doesn't make much sense of what is going on & gets very mixed up. Thankfully its mostly good days recently. But I know its going to get much worse from here on out. :( I went thru this with my great grandma & it was horribly upsetting, but I know what to expect now... Anyway...

My plea for all of you that have a heart, & I know its many of you out there. :) her 71st birthday is on the 27th of March. & everytime I go to the mailbox, she always asks, "did I get anything?"... & when a birthday card arrives, she so excited & loves sticking them to the wall, where she can see them all. :) so, my plea is birthday cards or a birthday wish on a postcard. She loves cats & birds a whole lot, so if it pertained to one of those - even better! But a regular card would make her just as Happy!

I'm not letting her know I'm doing this, as I want it to be a surprise... I WILL send you a thank you postcard in return, if you have your return addy on there. :)

I'm NOT asking for gifts or anything like that. Just a simple birthday card, or postcard for my Grandma. She's not one for material things. As I've learned the hard way, over the yrs. But, I see that as a good thing. :) She loooves to get mail, though! Special mail, as junk mail makes her mad. Lol. So, I thought id try to make her birthday a bit happier!
