Description:

OK...so I have another project that has been on my "to do" list for quite some time. Noodlehead has another great tutorial for making a simple basic 4 slot wallet. Like the zippered pouch, the instructions are simple and clear with lots of photos to see what is going on. Once you have made one, you may just need to make more. So help me out and sign up....or I might never get around to making one:)

THIS SWAP IS INTERNATIONAL....because the finished item will be flat (send it opened up instead of folded) and light and should not be overly expensive to mail.

For this swap, let's make one simple wallet following THIS TUTORIAL. You do not need to use the leather and rivet as outlined in the pattern, but otherwise do follow the instructions concerning the amount and size of fabrics to cut......Choose a suitable heavier weight fabric for the outside of the wallet and embellish as you wish. As you sign up for this swap please comment below, if the wallet will be for a child (how old), or adult, boy or girl, and list 2 colour themes that would be appropriate. This will give your partner an idea whether a juvenile, adult, classic or funky design is appropriate. If you do not leave your comment below by the time partners are assigned.....the swap will be senders choice.

SO...

  • One partner
  • Make one basic wallet following tutorial link
  • Choose a theme left for your partner in comments below
  • Send on time
  • Have fun creating a fabulous basic wallet....

I know we can do it!

Thanks for the tutorial. I've been aware that wallets should be easy and I have lots of gorgeous fabric so I've wanted to make one, or more, but been lazy about finding a clear tutorial.

Please send something for an adult woman, pretty but not "girly" as girl-hood passed me by some time ago.

Something for a preteen boy. A good colour not to show dirt.....like Navy or Grey?

Thanks!
