Make An Envelope - #11 USA

I am a postal clerk and I love to see different envies. Thank you hosting this swap. I love to make envies also.

I love making envelopes - make them for every swap. @ peartree55 I know my mailman loves it when I put out my envelopes/postcards. The other day when he was looking at postcards I made (on the way to the next mailbox) one fell out of the truck. He had to get out and pick it up - glad it fell in the grass and didn't get run over! LOL :o)

I said no 1's but apparently swappers don't read that. However, I will check them out and ban if necessary. Sometimes they are ridiculous, like (didn't like it). If the 1's are from 2010 or back further and swapper is doing much better now I will allow. Newbies without a complete profile is another thing and I will ask to do something about that before ban.

I have a question....Are we supposed to take the 3 envies that we make put address labels on them all, stamps on each, seal them each shut with nothing inside and mail all three off to our partner? Or are we supposed to make and decorate one envie stamp and address it and put the other 2 inside? Or do we put 3 inside since they won't be able to reuse the one we sent them in? I hope you understand what I mean lol. Just trying to be clear! Thank you!

I am pretty sure, we are supposed to mail our 3 handmade envelopes in one bigger envelope to our partner. You may put blank labels on the 3 envelopes, but your partner should be able to use your envelopes to mail them herself. I think, "Lets give the postal clerk and delivery people something interesting to look at when you send mail." simply means, to decorate the envelope we send in, also.

Yes, I did speak with her and she said the same as @berlingeorgia So you got the right idea... she also said decorating the envie that you send them in, is up to you, but I plan to = ) Thank you guys for all the help for the newbies on here!!! We appreciate you seasoned vets!!!

Okay swappers, its been answwered. Next time maybe I need to make it clearer as I forget newbies may not understand and I do the swaps as if you guys already know.
Three nicely done envelopes that you make yourself.
Put into another envelope so yur swapper can use them to send mail. The envelope you address can be decorated but not necessary. This is not a decorated envelope swap. This is to MAKE an envelope out of the things I stated above as an example.

Do the envelopes have to go in a larger envelope? Or can they be folded. Some folks personally care if the envelopes are folded. Some see that they can be used easily and do not care. Since it is a huge issue with some swappers and others not so big, so I figured I best post this.

Folded envelopes are so horrible to receive! I'm embarrassed to send them out. I'll watch to see the req. before joining.

I love making envelopes and would soooo join up if you do an international version.

DO NOT FOLD to get into another addressed envelope. Get a BIGGER envie to send them in please!!

Thank you for answering. Like I mentioned some care, some don't and for the ones that do not, I would hate to have them join, and then be made to send another one.

Twenty five of you have sent already, wonderful. Keep going swappers. We will do agin next month, watch for it.
