Recycled Box ATCs

I love this idea! I'm into recycling also, and there are some great boxes to play with out there. Count me in! Helen

I haven't swapped anything before - I am starting with the Christmas Card swap tomorrow. Can I still sign up?

I made my ATCs for this swap last night. I used Card board from a Tissue Box & from a Candy Box.

I also used some junk mail to stamp on that I has left from the Junk mail swap I'm also in....

It was fun having to use specific materials. It stretch my brain.

I made mine today but got a bit carried away, I'm making a set of 13! The 7 which are completely finished are on my web site at www.kathieskrafts.co.uk.

this was a graet idea for ATC's. I used mostly tissue boxes and found that you could thin the layers of card down by pealing them appart so only the printed bit was left, makes them less bulky.

I've got 2 atcs done, just need to make 2 more! susi

Although I've been making ATC's for about a year I'm only just getting up the courage to swap so I'm a little nervous that I won't meet the standards or something!

we all had to start somewhere. so don't be afraid just do your best. you can't get better by not making them, practice makes perfect. I have learned a great deal from the ATCs I have received from other artists.

I've used a tissue box for half of my cards for this swap.

I am out of the hospital now, got home last night.. so using my recup time to make ATC's! I made two out of cracker boxes, and 2 out of kid's band aid boxes. those two are very lightly embellished because they already are so colorful. I recived mine from Paula Best today, I like the simplicity, you used the box as the decoration and the lttle embellishment was a nice touch! Can't rate you yet, but I give you a 5!

They came the night of 12/23 when I was rushing to declutter for the holiday and I misplaced them, so I can't rate you if I don't know who you are (unless they are unearthed). I just finished my first two and am hoping to finish the other two tonight which means they will go out in tomorrow or Saturday's mail. I went a little out on the edge on these so I hope whomever gets it likes them :-)

I had serious creative block with this swap. Today my ATCs went out to Christy in NC and Teresa in GA. I ended up using a hodge podge: inks to dye the cards, tinted acrylic glaze, UTEE, and some had Perfect Pearls for metallics. I am a but underwhelmed, sigh. Hope you ladies like them, though!
