Coin Swap - Int'l circulated coins #2
Swap Coordinator:JayBab (contact)
Swap categories: Miscellaneous
Number of people in swap:13
Location:International
Type:Type 2: Flat mail
Last day to signup/drop:January 31, 2013
Date items must be sent by:February 11, 2013
Number of swap partners:4
Description:

Since the first swap was such a participation success, extending this into a sequel, if i may call it that...

Looking to swap minimum of 5 coins from your country with assigned partner. Bills/paper money also acceptable if the denomination makes it feasible for you. Any profile is subject to review, consideration, and I reserve the right to 'veto' any suspicious flakey activity. If paired with partner in same country..., try for oddities, wherever possible. For example, Canada & U.S. have limited themed, and/or province & state coins, respectively.

International members are MOST welcomed! Expectations are that circulation coins will be swapped, and not mint, or purchased collector items. This means that coins being received are expected to be used, nicked 'n scratched.

Please ship coins that are 'fixed' in place, and not loose inside envelope. Good practice is to declare contents as "used numismatic collectibles w/low value" or "gift-collectibles". Your country of origin may have specifics you may need to consider before sending.

4 partners each, please declare your country of origin after singing-up. i would encourage contacting your swap-partner to 'customize' your swap for hearts. Happy Swapping!

If we're from the USA and get a USA partner, do the coins we send have to be from our country? I don't want to get a low rating for sending something from somewhere else that would be more interesting to someone from the US since even our "regional" coins are distributed country-wide.

Canada:)

Desert Unicorn - that is a possibility, yes. It is precisely why I included a note concerning USA + Canadian swap partners, if paired with 1 from own country, try helping with completing their local coin collection. Though I've been collecting for years, i am still nowhere near getting all USA + Canadian themed quarters. Also, check their profile. Maybe they also collect stamps, postcards, etc. doesn't hurt to throw-in a little extra from your corner of the country that is more easily acquired by you. I hope this helps!

I live in the USA but will be sending coins from Mexico (where I lived for many years) and Costa Rica.

I'm in the USA. If I get a US partner, I can put at least one non US coin in to make it more interesting.
