Hack this Sweater!

Have a sweater that just needs to be hacked or altered or cut up or repurposed? Find something at the thrift shop with a cool pattern but no shape? Here is your opportunity to alter, hack, re-make, and generally play around with sweaters. End product is up to you, but consideration of your partner's profile would be nice! I'd love to hack several sweaters into a "new" sweater, but a scarf, stuffed critter, pillow, skirt, couch throw, sewing machine cover, wallhanging, dog sweater, tea cozy and tea tray rug, hat and mittens, set of mug rugs in a decorative "sweater" box, a basket made of coiled felted sweater fabric ... the possibilities are so exciting!
