For this swap you will have one partner and to that partner you will send 6 unwritten postcards in an envelope. Postcards sent must fulfill 6 (of the 12) categories listed below:

  • black & white pc

  • vintage pc

  • pc featuring something beginning with the letter, "B"

  • pc with a statue

  • pc with a rabbit

  • pc relating to any holiday

  • pc with a recipe

  • pc with a movie or TV character

  • pc with a bird--but not a photograph of a bird

  • pc with a couple (man & woman) on the front

  • pc larger than 4" x 6"

  • sender's choice pc

Along with the six unwritten postcards, you must include a note letting your partner know which category each postcard represents. You may send zazzle or etsy cards for this swap.

As far as touristy/non-touristy postcards, I will only say that the object of the swap is NOT to go to your local drug store, buy 6 local postcards and MAKE them fit the categories. I've gotten lots of feedback from participants on the touristy vs non-touristy postcards and realize everyone has personal likes/dislikes. My hope is that participants will choose and send thoughtfully. Remember...you only have to come up with 6 of the 12, and one of those can be sender's choice!

Participants must have a 4.9 rating and been rated for 10 Type 2/Type 3 swaps. If you do NOT meet these requirements and still want to join, please message me. I will angel this swap if necessary.

Discussion

fawnscrafts 12/28/2012 #

can the rabbit be drawn or be the one that is growing antlers?

fawnscrafts 12/28/2012 #

and is 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches OK for the larger size card, or should I choose another size up?

isabellasnow 12/29/2012 #

The rabbit does not need to be an "actual" rabbit--whimsical is great

If you HAVE one that is a size up, I would choose that--but, technically, anything larger than 4x6 is acceptable
