Mail art envelope journal - christmas theme

I love mail, I love art, I love quotes and I love art journals so I thought why not combine them all? This swap is based around envelopes that can be bound or glued to make a wonderful art journal or used as pockets, tip ins etc in art journals. The theme for this swap is Christmas, your choice within that theme - eg. santa, trees, gifts, angels .... the ideas are endless.

What you need to do is:

1. Decorate the front and back of one 16x11cm standard Aus Post sized envelope for each of your partners in a christmas theme. It is up to you whether you address this envelope to your partner but don't forget to put your name on the back flap.

2. Put one or more of your favourite quotes on a tag, bookmark, postcard etc inside that envelope. Tag needs to measure at least 10x7 cm (but still fit in the envelope) and it has to be handmade.

3. Leave it unsealed so that the flap can be used to bind the envelopes into a journal.

4. Put the decorated envelope in another envelope and send it to your partners.

These envelopes need to be amazing and personalised as only you can. Make them reflect the inner creative you! The envelopes I have received so far have shown real creative effort - collage, stamping, drawing, embellishments and even a dash of glitter. Let's keep the standard up so everyone loves what they send and receive!

The envelopes can be home made or purchased ones ... your creative choice.
