Description:

International swap. 2 partners, 1 ATC to each.

I will carefully check profiles before I assign partners so please be assured that I will not let anyone join the swap who doesn't fulfil the stated requirements

I'm going to be doing a few more of these swaps as I really enjoy the challenge.

Create one ATC for each partner that has the following 6 elements on it - nothing else.

  • A lipstick
  • A shoe
  • A piece of fruit
  • Sunglasses
  • The Olympic Rings
  • Human lips

As I'm planning all these swaps ahead, I haven't made mine yet so I don't have a picture of one I made earlier!

As in the other swaps in this series, you should search your magazines, books, newspapers etc. for the images and then collage them. The ATCs must have all 6 elements appear on them somewhere. You can be as imaginative as you like, but please don't just stick the images on any old how. Try and make them 'flow'.

As always, committed swappers only please. Only sign up if you intend to send and intend to rate your partner. As it is international some of you will be sending overseas.

Swappers with 4.8 and over ratings, no no-sends and at least 4 different ATC swaps under their hat. Sorry newbies, nothing against you, but this one is for experienced swappers only.

Again, this one should be a bit of a challenge, but it isn't until June so there's plenty of time to find all the elements you need!

Above all - have fun! Any questions, please ask.

I am having trouble finding the Olympic Rings....It may be too early as the Olympics don't start until ?August? I know I can print out my own, but for now I'll keep looking....

LMM 05/21/2008 #

LOL---Today the rings were in the newspaper's "Mini Page"!

I am having trouble finding them too - although I found one last week in the end. I was hoping that magazines/newspapers would start running articles on them before now!

Now in the public domain...

Thanks for that - but when I save it to my picture programme and then get it back up I only get 4 rings! the background comes out black and the black ring on the black background doesn't show up!

You're right. I found that if you do a search in Google Images for 'olympic rings' there are some that come up with a white background.

btw, I also recall that Vancouver already has the city flooded with olympic rings ...

MissyChrissy, I got an email saying it was ok to use Olympic rings from the internet "this time" - does that mean nothing else can be printed out? Is this a magazine only swap? (I'm a little confused).

Missychrissy and Sleepingrover2010, your cards are in the post from UK.

Thanks Boatingbelle, look forward to getting them. Shouldn't take too long to get to me I think!
