I've got a Story to Tell #1 UK only

I got this idea from a beautiful greeting card I received from @TerryF Inside the card was a photo and a story about the photo and I had a light bulb moment. We've all got stories to tell about ourselves and our families so here's the swap:

Take an A5 (14.5 x 21 cm) piece of sturdy card. On it write or type a story about yourself or a member of your family. You can write or type on paper and paste it into the card as in the picture if you like.

You are not writing your life history - just one story which could be about an event (eg sports day?), family gathering (eg wedding?) or tradition (eg Christmas) or about why a particular member of your family is special (eg grandmother?)

Add an illustration. This could be a photo of the event or individual, a drawing, a painting, a collage.....something that illustrates your story. If you use stickers they must relate to the story not just stuck in to fill the space.

The A5 page may be portrait or landscape. Make something beautiful. Be proud to share your stories. On the back of your card sign it, date and swap name.

I'm excited about this. It'll be fun to write our stories and terrific to read each others.
