Description:
For this swap, you will write a letter to a fictional character and send it off to your partner. Offer your support to a favorite character, berate one that makes you angry, plead with one that continues to make bad decisions. Do you have a fictional character of your own that you want to write to? Is there one in your favorite book that you can't get out of your head? What would you say to them if they were sitting in front of you? Handwrite the equivalent of one page of A4 and send it off to two partners. Feel free to decorate the letter or the envie, but it's not required. (If you feel your handwriting is absolutely atrocious, feel free to type it, but make it more creative than just Times New Roman on white paper.) Newbies are welcome with well filled out profiles. No unexplained 1's or 3's in the past 3 months. I will offer to angel after you give your partner a 1.

If anyone wants me to change the number of partners, just let me know. I know I would enjoy receiving more than one of these, but that doesn't mean everybody would.

I love this idea. Can one fictional character write to another? I am doing NaNoWriMo this year, and my characters are running around like crazy in my head. Hmmmm, where to begin, which character to use...... so many ideas, so little time.

I'm doing Nano as well! I think for this swap, it needs to be a letter from you to a fictional character. (I'll do swaps later on from one character to another.) Good luck with your novel!

Thanks Windhaven. I will look for your at NaNo. Are you a member of writing.com also? My novel is LOTR fanfiction, and my fave character is Ecthelion, in an alternate universe. Boy, do I have a LOT to say to him! I look forward to doing some letters between characters also. Good luck to you in NaNo also.

Can I write to a different character for each partner? Can they be from movies or tv shows?

@KraftyKaren - If you want to make the extra effort and write to different characters, go for it. And they can be from ANYTHING. I'll be writing to a TV adaptation of a book character, but you can write to one from anything -- I even played with the idea of writing to one of my own original characters.
