Description:
Easy - send a postcard of your state bird. Can be a pc with state bird written on it with photo or one with a photo of just the bird you know is from your state. Write a little something, quote, etc to your partner. The PC doesn't have to be from the state you live in. Newbies welcome. The photo of the bird can be small such as on a state map or among scenery or with other items, flowers, etc. And you can hand make the post card - draw, photo, as long as it's a state bird.

tiggerski - good question - no - it can be from any state as long as it's a "state" bird.

Does it have to be an actual photo of the bird, or can it be a drawing?

Ohhhhhh.. I hope I get a PC with a Cardinal on it , it's my very favorite bird.IhopeIhopeIhope!

Oh I love it!!! Ok, got a couple of questions. What about say....a state map card, that has alot of other things on it like attractions listed and so on, but also has a very small picture (little drawing really) of the state bird and lists the name of the bird beside it. I'm talking just a small little picture and name amid alot of other state facts. OR......does the card have to be store-bought or can it be handmade, beautiful picture printed online and made into a postcard? Or possibly handmade with images of a state bird glued onto cardstock???

Just a few idea I have, lol. If it has to be store-bought my only option is the state map card, lol.

The card I have sounds similar to bettflow09's, except the bird on mine takes about 1/3-1/2 of the card. It's a drawing rather than a photo though. Hope that's ok, but I'll wait for the go-ahead before I join since that's the only state bird one I've seen. :(

A small picture is fine as long it is the state bird. So any card with other scenery or items, etc besides the bird is fine. It can be hand made, photo, drawing what ever as long as it's a state bird>
