FAD- Dia de los Muertos Art Doll

''Dia de los Muertos'' is a colourful Mexican festival held on 1st and 2nd November honouring the dead.

For this swap you will create 1 Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead themed art doll for 1 partner.

The doll can be made from scratch or you can significantly alter an existing doll to make it ''Dia de los Muertos/ Day of the Dead'' style.

The doll must be a 3 dimensional art doll. No flat dolls, no paper dolls, no dotee dolls and no button fairies are allowed.

You can use any art doll medium you like. For example, polymer clay, paper clay, fabric, mixed media etc. If you prefer you can alter a Barbie or a porcelain doll from the thrift store.

Minimum doll size is 6 inches tall.

Please spend time and effort creating a doll that your partner will be thrilled to receive and love to display. Make it special. Add appropriate embellishments such as lace, small silk flowers, fibres, rhinestones, glitter, vintage jewellery parts, charms, beads, trim and ribbon. You could even incorporate your partners favourite colours if you wish but it is not essential.
