art journal rampage

I am currently keeping my journal in the booklet provided in the Wide Open: Art Journaling on the Edge kit. I am finding my writing and creativity have been sparked by having such a wonderful medium to write in.

For this swap you will make your partner a journal of at least ten sheets of paper (thus 20 pages of usable surface). You can choose to bind this however you like, but remember, you want it to be easy to write in and inspirational, so just stapling it might not be ideal.

Then play with the pages themselves. Put inspirational quotes on them, journaling prompts, make them colorful, use different kinds of paper, all different kinds of things to make this journal something that will inspire your partner to use it and become more creative. I've been playing with painting and collaging pages then color copying them so it's easy to write on.

Make this journal something you would find inspiring and delightful to use. Have fun. Play!
