Description:

Use any type of journal you want, as long as it had more than 30 pages and is larger than a5 in size. (this is 8.3 * 5.8 inches)

Each day you have one task to complete and put in to the journal. It may be a simple task or it might involve some work. There will be 30, 1 for each day of a normal month.

You can start the tasks as soon as you join.

Feel free to decorate the journal but you don't have to. Handmade journals are accepted as long as they are done well and don't fall apart. This is a journal swap so no loose sheets please.

Newbies are welcome as long as their profile is well filled out. No one with under 4.9 rating or any 1s in the last 3 month or 3s in the last 6 unless you contact me to explain them first. Sorry, I too many flakes before.

So, here come the tasks

  1. Draw your family tree

  2. Share something you ate that day

  3. Fill a Page with stickers

  4. Show a photo you've taken yourself

  5. Tell your partner one thing they'd not know about you to look at you

  6. Describe a typical day in your life

  7. Show your pets or if you don't have any, but show your fave animal

  8. Share your favourite poem

  9. Doodle on a Page!

  10. Describe the last book you read. What was it. Who by? What is it about? Did you enjoy it?

  11. Where would you like to visit?

  12. Share your favourite postcard

  13. Find something purple and put it in the notebook

  14. Describe your ideal first date

This one looks really fun. I'm super excited about it!

sweetcandylove 08/ 8/2012 #

Can the journal be in A5 size or should it really be bigger than A5 size?

sugarskull 08/ 9/2012 #

Could we have another day or two to send out?

secretterrabite 08/10/2012 #

Would the large size moleskine be ok for this? I am having problems finding anything bigger without doing an A4 journal?

@sugarskull - you have a month to send out the journal - sign up is for end august, send out is end of september! @Sweetcandylove and @secretterrabite - if you can't get a5 then use the closest you can find!

Hello everyone! Today i went to buy a new journal especially for the swap, and cute dessert stickers too ;)

I hope my partner won't mind a 8x6 journal. Is this an acceptable size?

sugarskull 08/23/2012 #

How I originally read the swap is that each day we do the assigned task, so on Sept. 30th I'd complete the assignment and then have to package and mail the journal.

Apparently, I really like this swap. I'm going to add extra pages out of necessity. One thing leads to another, and now there's an extra related to everything!
