Description:

You will send your partner a Zentangled Upper Case "G" on an ATC sized (2.5 inch x 3.5 inch) card stock or similar paper. Adding color, using a colored paper or color washed background is optional. Use your creativeness and send something you would be happy to get. Please make sure you have a sturdy backing. Add the name of the swap, your name & swap name and date completed on the back of your card.

NOTE: ALL the patterns you use MUST be Certified Zentangle Patterns. If you're unsure what these are, go to TanglePatterns.com or Flickr (search - Zentangle). Doodle art is very different than Zentangle art. Making these letters is a great way to learn new patterns.

We will go in order through the alphabet until the end - "Z" so you can work ahead if you wish.

The usual Swap-bot rules apply. Newbies are welcome as long as the swap requirements are fulfilled. Flaking will NOT be tolerated and you must be in good standing. If you have any problems contact your swap partner and/or me. If you have questions about the swap, leave it in the comment section or pm me. If you flake on a letteryou will be banned from future swaps. I cannot Angel but you can get the letter when we do the Make-Up Swaps.

Happy Zentangling! Newbie friendly!

I will be having 'Letter Make-Up" swaps from time to time in case you miss a letter or two and want the full alphabet.

Well..........Ummm...........It seems we are still having issues with questionable zentangles being sent. I don't think I can make the instructions/requirements any more clear than I have. Please ask a question if you need to if you aren't sure you're following the requirements.

Well, I can't imagine not having this swap...I love it, and while I'm rather new to Tangles, I have started a notebook of them from the website you've provided, tanglepatterns.com.
HELLO PEOPLE...Don't doodle and call it a zentangle...Zentangles are designed patterns that must be used...NOT something you made up while you were daydreaming. Sorry Deeno1105, I got a wee bit miffed. Sorry also that you're having problems. But OH SO glad for this string of swaps. You're doing a great job.

Deeno I would be lost without this group you swaps. I Android so glad you are hosting.

Whytewillow: I couldn't have said it better. Kudos!

I have an idea for those that may struggle with the size. Make a G in the center of the paper, And Tangle around that on a sheet of paper about 5 in by 5 in. Then you can cut down the zentangel to the correct size for the swap and have some inchies for you journals.

That is the way I have to do these. My hands shake too much for me to make a good zentangle in small places.

I do roughly the same thing fawnscraft, I just made a 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 template i can trace around then cut after I'm done with the tangles.

And I agree, this Is a great Swap group. I couldn't be happier.
