Leaves of Children's Lit

Summer's breath is getting cooler and more whispery. Leaves are beginning to ready their fall wardrobe, and we reach for the cocoa and books that we might have ignored during the summertime rush to garden, can, launder, rest, or any of the hundred things that kept us out of the Hundred Acre Wood.

Create a handmade craft for your partner that uses the "leaves" (pages) of one of your favorite children's books. Perhaps you will create a series of ATCs that uses book pages as a background. Perhaps you might make a piece of jewelry formed from books.

Create your own specialty with love and care and include a note about your craft or the book you chose.

Although this is sender's choice, it's always nice to check your partner's profile for likes and dislikes.

There is no minimum size, dollar amount, or specification for materials, beyond incorporating the pages of a children's book (partial pages or lines of text are fine), but if you make something smaller -- such as an ATC, notecard, or postcard -- please make several for your partner.
