Description:

I love getting recipes in the mail. I love getting recipes that have gone naked through the mail. I love just popping my new recipe card directly into my recipe box.

The Haps

Using either a standard, storebought recipe card or an index card of the correct size (4x6), stamp and address it like a normal postcard.

Write your recipe. You can use both sides. If you have room you can share a little something about it.

Drop it in the mail, naked.

Since this will be the first of a series, the theme is "summertime" so any recipe using summer time produce or that would be appropriate for a summertime picnic would work.

If you have dietary restrictions, make sure they are clearly stated in your profile.

Newbies are welcome. I will angel any flakesters. This is international.

How do you use both sides if you are sending it as a postcard? I think it would all have to fit on the recipe side only.

Hi @churlann To answer your question: if you use a recipe card or an index card, you can write on the "front" and the side you put the address and the stamp on. You won't be using a storebought card with a picture at all. I will try to post some pictures.

Can we send store-bought recipe postcards? I picked up a couple of local favorites that I would make, so they're not just random tourist cards I picked up. :o) If not, it's okay. I'll save them for people who request them.

@ktlasers That sounds fine, as long as its keeping with the theme of "summertime"
