Description:

We all know that: You've got a lot of stamps that look pretty nice, but - they do not fit in your collections. Perhaps there's someone outside who's collecting and waiting for exactly these stamps. So why not try and send out some of our "Ladenhueter"(if anyone knows an English word for this, let me know).

This swap is a good opportunity to get rid of some stamps we do not need and to make someone else happy!

You've got two partners and to each of them you will send 30 used postage-stamps in good condition. It's sender's choice but of course you may have a look at your partner's preferences. Please no duplicates and please no more than 5 from one country. In the area below you can place your preferences, that's much easier as to read long profiles to find out your partner's preferences. But remember that this could only be a wish or suggestion, it's not obligatory for the sender. So, if you receive 30 used stamps in good condition you'll have to rate a 5.

2 partners, 30 stamps to each - quite simple! Let's swap!

I think the english word could be translated to "slow movers".

Katrin, my late grandfather was half-German. Though he taught me little German, I do know "Ladenhueter" - translates to English as "Deadwood," "Leftovers," "Shelf warmer," etc.
So, meaning the "leftover" used postage stamps resting in one's collection & now a chance in this swap to make them move on.
This is a great opportunity to swap stamps on & receiving interesting new ones in return.
Thank you Katrin.

I wish I could join, but 25 stamps from different foreign countries I do not have. :(

Margothecat 06/14/2012 #

@nomrodnomad - do you actually have 60 stamps to trade?

erikawithak 06/15/2012 #

Hey, just thought would let my partners know that I love stamps from Norway, Japan (well any Asian country), and Netherlands in particular, and especially love art themed stamps, but I'm not picky...send me anything!

@Margothecat I banned nimrodnomad. His profile is empty and he didn't answer to my message.
