New Note - 15th March Hi everyone. Just to let you know that everyone's packages should now be on there way. I have noticed that a small number of swappers still haven't marked as having sent. Please be advised that personal messages have been sent to these members. And remember to allow at least 2/3 weeks for your package to arrive. Then it is perfectly in order to send a polite "where is it" to your partner.

Please note - that if you are sending internationally, it is likely your envelope will take quite a while to arrive. It will be polite to let your swap partner know when you have sent and give warning that it is coming from abroad!

OKAY SO WHAT WILL YOU SEND TO YOUR SWAP PARTNER?

  1. A postcard - It can be bought or handmade. On the back you are to include either a favourite poem, or some inspiring or funny quotes, or a joke.

  2. an ATC - The theme is to be based on your favourite hobby and can be in any crafting style. If you are unsure about ATC's you will find all the information you need by clicking on the ATC entry on the Swap-Bot Weblog page.

  3. A small inexpensive surprise item to treat your partner - use their profile to help decide.

  4. a pen-pal letter to accompany. You can make a new friend straight away! The profile should provide enough information for subject matter.

Most of all - don't worry and enjoy what you do. You don't have to be a fabulous artist. Whoever is receiving will always know if time and effort has been spent on something.

You can get working on the first 2 straight away so you already have them finished when swap partners are announced. That only leaves the letter and treat to do - and there will be a whole 2 weeks in which to get that done and to pop it all in the post.

Have fun everyone - and don't forget to ask me if you have any queries whatsoever! Happy crafting!

This swap is International.

Okay then everyone - your swap partner will be announced very soon. It is generated by the computer - so it could be anyone who has signed up for the swap!

Please don't be offended if you have received a message requesting that you fill in your profile more thoroughly. It was just about the only requirement of the swap - and is for everyones benefit; it helps others know what makes you tick, and also what you would like to receive in a swap.

Happy swapping. Has anyone started yet?
