Inchies Swap - Free choice

Swap categories: Challenges  Art  Artist Trading Card (ATC)
Number of people in swap:28
Location:Other
Type:None
Last day to signup/drop:March 15, 2008
Date items must be sent by:March 31, 2008
Number of swap partners:2
Description:

This swap is international. Swappers with a 4.8 rating and over please, newbies welcome if you have a full profile. Please be committed - if you are not going to send or not going to rate your partner, then please do not sign up.

Make 12 inchies for each partner. 2 partners x 12 inchies = 24 total. This should not cost any more in postage than if you were sending 2 ATCs as you can get 6 inchies on an ATC base for transportation (see picture). If you use a little bit of sticky tape to attach them they can then be taken off the base.

There is no theme, it's free choice, so you can get creating as soon as you like! Inchies can be made from any media - the only rule is that they are 1" x 1".

Any questions please ask.

Ok, you got me,I'm signing up. March 31st, Arpil 1st...it's all just a mater of semantics. Just for you, I'll break my no more March swaps :D

Plus this swap was so on my mind...my muse started making them last night even though I'd said I couldn't join.

I'm sorry I thought this swap was for something else. I missunderstood the write up on it. I'm dropping from it but want to let everyone know to have a great time.

missychrissy 02/23/2008 #

Great to have you with us Dez... yes, what's one more day LOL!!! I've made a few today as well.. I find it easier to make 2 at a time both the same or similar, then I can either send both to my partners, or keep one for myself!

missychrissy 02/23/2008 #

Sorry you dropped Craftlover and sorry if I didn't make it clear. Maybe another time?

crimsoncat05 02/23/2008 #

I haven't made any inchies for a while; sounds like fun!!

Zipp0099 03/ 4/2008 #

Mine are done, my first inchies!!!!! And I had a blast making them! OK to be honest I made about 100 of them, I got carried away while in my craft room....

missychrissy 03/ 5/2008 #

Oh wow Zipp... that's a lot! They are quite addictive aren't they, especially once you get going. Well done!

Zipp0099 03/ 5/2008 #

Thank you. But they are my first ones so I am hoping that they pass the test! I include some of them in my other swaps to share them along the way.

missychrissy 03/ 5/2008 #

I'm sure they will be fine... that's nice that you put them in other swaps as well.

VJP 03/ 8/2008 #

okay, I'm pretty new to inchies. I just made several inchie charms and just LOVED it. But...are regular inchies different? If so, how? Are they embellished differently/not all? Just want to be sure I'm on the right track here. It was required that they have a jump ring.

THANKS!!

Hi VJP

For my swap, anything goes! The only rule is that they are 1" square! Other than that you can decorate and embellish them however you wish. I've never seen them with jump rings on so that would be a really good idea.

VJP 03/ 9/2008 #

I will take some pics tonight before I sent and show you what they look like.

missychrissy 03/10/2008 #

OK, that will be good thanks.
