Description:

Do you have some great rubber or clear stamps? Well, share them with the rest of us! Let's swap STAMPED IMAGES! I like getting stamped images - I use them just like I use collage sheets!

For this swap you will take FOUR pieces of 8 1/2" by 11" inch cardstock (white, gray, beige or other neutral). Cut each sheet into 1/4s - you will end up with 16 sheets of cardstock that measure 5 1/2" by 4 1/4" (if you don't have 8 1/2" by 11" cardstock feel free to cut the correct sized pieces from whatever you have).

EDITED ON 6/4/2012: I am changing this to TWO PARTNERS. This will give us a bigger variety of stamped images. EIGHT pieces of cut cardstock to EACH partner. Thank you!

Use a minimum of 5 different images/stamps. The stamps you use are up to you - this is sender's choice. However, no one will fault you if you check out your partner's profile and make some of the images profile based (TOTALLY OPTIONAL).

Use black ink (Staz On is the best because it is waterproof - but not required) and stamp your imgages! Make sure you take your time and get nice, clean images!

When you sign up for the swap mention below in the comment section whether you want one large stamped image in the middle of each sheet of cardstock, or if you want the images stamped close together on each sheet. Make sense?

Only stamp on one side of the cardstock.

Anything else? Let me know if you have any questions - thanks!

For mine, you can put as many images on one sheet of cardstock as will fit - I cut them out right on the outline when I use them. Thanks!

I also prefer as many images as will fit, Thanks

if my partner has these images, that would be cool: fish images, birds, airballoons ( No stress if my partner doesnt have these kind of images). 1 cm (1/3 inch)space around the images would be cool.

You can put as many images on one sheet of cardstock as will fit. TIA

I too prefer for them to be mashed onto a sheet.

great minds think alike!!

MAGGIEMAY 06/ 3/2012 #

Great swap. If you get me i would love some steampunk images. thanks

MissThundercat 06/ 4/2012 #

just to clarify; you send up sending all the 16 sheets of card stock to one partner? might I suggest sending 8 pieces each to 2 partners to receive more variety?

MissThundercat 06/ 4/2012 #

(a little help for fellow for European people the end cardstock pieces of 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches is equal to 14x11cm :)

LauraAust 06/ 4/2012 #

Great idea Miss Thundercat - I will edit!

Fatherted 06/ 4/2012 #

so, 8 sheets to each partner or 16 sheets to each partner?

LauraAust 06/ 4/2012 #

16 sheets total - 8 to each partner. I fixed it again (I think). I don't know why I'm making this so hard. HA!!

I would prefer one image on the page please if it is a larger image but if it is a small one then several with about 1cm between images would be fine thanks

MAGGIEMAY 06/ 7/2012 #

Love the image swap but only like one partner.

MissThundercat 06/ 7/2012 #

awesome, thanks for implementing my suggestion for this swap @lauraAust :)
I would love as many images that can fit on the card stock, thanks :)

I would like as many images as will fit. I prefer images that are weird, offbeat, and not cute or funny. Also just plain things, like stars or geometrics or border/background patterns. The stamps you think are ugly are probably ones I'll like. =smile= And anything from Nature—fish, birds, trees, leaves—so long as they're not cutesy, would be great as well. Thanks!

heritagedecouleurs 06/14/2012 #

I also like as many as can on a sheet ...but a little space to cut please ... and I like vintage, shells , mermaids , fairies...but feel free to surpirse me ...

JillianN 06/14/2012 #

I too would like as many as well.

luckycharms 06/16/2012 #

I also would like as many on one sheet, with space between to cut them out. Thanks

papercaper 06/20/2012 #

I thought I'd already commented. I prefer mine the same way @melusina likes hers, and since she's sending to me, I'm one lucky puppy. :)

lsmahutchin 06/22/2012 #

I'm open to anything - big images or small - cute or not.
