Art Doll Round Robin

Ok, any ideas that we need to add or ask just give a yell :)

is there a limit to how many can join?

Do you mean how many dolls you can send round?

Oh duh, took me a few days to read that properly dreamerkins...I would say maybe up to ten? How would that be?

Edited to say 10. This way it wont get out of control and we could have a second group if everyone wants to.

Okay I want to be sure I get this right:

We will create the body of the doll and add the face, then send it to the next person correct? Does the body have to be sewn and stuffed or will someone else down the line do that?

The body has to be sewn, stuffed and have a face on her/him. You can add anything else you want to but I think he/she at least needs a face to start his/her journey :)

my thoughts about how long each person should have the doll was the same as yours ...one week. I have a question about additions to the doll. Do you have suggestions such as should the first person decide a theme for the doll, made a dress,etc ? Or should we just do whatever suits our fancy?

I have thought about this as well, lets have a vote...the choices are (unless you have another idea) 1. Whatever suits your fancy OR 2. A theme, but you have to have some kind of guidelines or story sent with your doll OR 3. You can do either/or, just send a note round with your baby stating which you prefer

how about we all just choose one style such as funny, pretty , glamrous. goddess, country , folk ( you get the idea) or even surprise me. whatta you think???

I prefer to have mine turn out to be whatever she is by the time she comes home.

Ok, then how about a note included that says what you would like, even if it is a few choices and if you do put a few choices the first to get the doll makes the choice?

I vote for a week.....and I want my doll to come back as a surprize....so what ever anyone adds should just be what they are inspired to add, be it a little or alot. I will probably create some sort of "story" for her in the journal that I send along with her. My Question is how do we rate each other for this swap? Not that I need the ratings or anything, I was just wondering how that would work!

About ratings: Maybe when you receive each doll you could set up a private swap to keep track and when you get your doll back use the ratings?

Ok, P1 is your assigned partner, you send your doll to her when she gets it she lets you know and then sends YOUR doll on to the number 2 person. Example.Me, my partner (P1) is jstubbs, I send her my doll, then she sends MY doll to the 2 person who is Chanel, the Chanel sends MY doll to the 3 person who is Denise....does that make more sense? Please send some sort of tag or have it in your journal which alphabet letter you are, ex. me, I am J

The chart at the top of this swap is the correct chart now, I know it is small but hopefully you can see the numbers well enough to change your charts. The names stay the same.
