Bakery Swap

It's always nice to get different treats from all over the world. I've always been curious as to what goodies bakeries from different parts of the world have to offer.

For this swap, fill a small bread paper bag with all sorts of bread-related items and items we find in a bakery or bakery-like items form your supermarket. You may send things like cookies, dried fruits, , seasonings, biscuits, brownies,jams, breads, gummies, etc. The requirements are:

• Get a small bread paper bag,bakery box or brown bag at least 5 x 3 x 9.7 inches in size. (12.7 x 7.6 x 24.5 cms).
• Fill it with goodies you can find in a bakery. They can be edible and/or non-edible items. (some stores sell magnets, keychains, recipe cards that have a "baked-goods" or bakery theme.)
• Each edible must come in a sealed bag and all the items must fit inside the paper bag.
• Spend $3 on the items. You're welcome to err on the side of generosity though.
• Add a card telling them about the bakery or items you're sending.
• Package your items appropriately. Glass items and fragile foods should be wrapped and boxed to prevent breakage. It's a good idea to use a plastic baggie for anything that can leak, melt, or tear open during shipping.
• Please send items in their original, sealed packaging for health and customs reasons. Be sure to check expiration dates and only send in-date food items that will not expire before reaching your partner.
• Send and rate on time. On the rare occasion that you may need to send a bit late, please contact your partner AND the swap coordinator before the swap deadline has passed.
