Assemblage Art Treasure Box

Who doesn't love having a special box for precious items? Those that are specially made are even more valuable! This is an INTERNATIONAL SWAP! Newbies allowed with full profile.

IN this swap, each participant will take a small/medium hinged box, with latch or other closure, and decorate it according to their partner's profile.

Details below:

Box must be a minimum size of at least 3" wide X 5" long X 3" deep

Find boxes like this at craft stores & thrift shops (around $3) You can use an unfinished wood box like this: http://www.michaels.com/art/online/displayProductPage?productNum=cp0180 OR, you can find a box at a thrift/charity shop and re-do it.

Box can be made of wood, metal or heavy paperboard, but no glass or ceramic please due to breakage!

INSIDE of box must NOT have jewelry inserts or other attachments.

You will decorate the exterior with assemblage, collage, beads, paint, trims, paper, knick knacks, or whatever fits the theme!

You will cover the interior with a fabric or paint color which matches your partners taste.

Participants are given 6 weeks to complete this swap.
